Welcome to the web home of Misty Starr Alpacas. We are a family run farm focusing on increasing the quality of alpacas through breeding to improve fleece quality, animal conformation, and health.  All of our animals are halter trained and handled on a regular basis. We feel this is important in making the animals easier to care for and makes them look better in the show ring!
Our farm has some of the best genetics you will find. Not only do we have animals from the famous Royal Fawn and Dom Lucillio but we also have Canadian Grand Champion genetics from HFLSuper Sam and HPAlazam. We have crias on the way sired by MFI Pistol and Snowmass Arctic Blue. This is key to our philosophy of superior and diverse genetics. We strongly support new farms and can assist with halter training, fleece preparation, and show ring etiquette. These are areas that can be a challenge for those new to the business and we are here to help!
