A baby alpaca is called a cria. Watching the birth of a cria is amazing and wonderful!
 Sometimes mom gets a little tired and decides to lie down and take a break or go graze while she waits for the contractions.
 It's great to watch the new mom and cria bond and get to know each other. They are very affectionate animals and the moms get very attached to their crias, and vice-versa.
   When a cria is born, the entire farm is very curious about the newcomer!
